Treatment Education

Introduction to anti-wrinkle treatments.

Anti-wrinkle treatments are among the most widely performed non-surgical aesthetic procedures globally. They use purified botulinum toxin to temporarily relax targeted facial muscles, softening the appearance of dynamic wrinkles and preventing deeper lines over time.

Dynamic wrinkles are caused by repeated facial expressions such as frowning and smiling. By carefully administering anti-wrinkle injections into specific muscles, practitioners can achieve a smoother, more refreshed and natural-looking appearance while maintaining facial expression.

Common Anti-Wrinkle Pharmaceutical Brands

Globally, several well-established botulinum toxin brands are used, including:

Botox® (Allergan)Dysport® (Ipsen)Xeomin® (Merz) Jeuveau® (Evolus)Nuceiva® (Evolus)Azzalure® (Ipsen)
Note: Brand availability varies by country and local regulatory approvals.
